How To Order Hobbie's Wizard Wear

We are busy all year around so we highly recommend ordering early.

Many repeat customers order up to 1 year ahead of their desired delivery date with the majority of new customers ordering at least 6 months ahead.

Unfortunately, many customers order at the last minute, ignoring the posted delivery date. Our wizard wear products are not available for immediate shipment. Why? Every item of wizard wear is custom made to order.

As a result, late summer and early fall delivery dates fill up very quickly in anticipation of Halloween, usually well ahead of the minimum turn around time.

We currently have approximately 69 different knitwear products divided into product specific ordering pages.

Select an item from the website navigation bar, let's say School Vests. Navigate to that page where you will find a product description and links to sizing information. If you need custom measurements, please contact us prior to ordering to discuss the details.

We also promote Hobbie's wizard wear products through "CustomCostumeKnits", our ArtFire Studio where, on occasion, we will post items available for immediate shipment.

PayPal Payment Transaction

Hobbie's House does not have a record of nor do we ever see any financial information belonging to our customers. Once you submit an order, PayPal takes over the payment process.

Please note that PayPal will automatically debit your PayPal account and credit cards will be charged as soon as you place your order. It's their rule...it's how they operate. Why do we even mention what seems like an obvious fact? Because we've had to respond to it many times.

It bears repeating that many customers overlook the fact that our products are not available for immediate shipment. Three to five days later, these customers initiate a "non-delivery" claim with PayPal.

We post the "Not Available For Immediate Shipment" throughout our site. These notices are posted in red and hard to miss but...If you've changed your mind about an order, PLEASE CONTACT US DIRECTLY, rather than initiating a claims dispute through PayPal.

Our minimum turn around time exceeds the 45 days set by PayPal. PayPal is fully aware that we are a custom knitting business. Bottom line? Would you rather have your money back instantly by contacting us or have it tied up with PayPal for a minimum of 30 days? Just send us an email and we'll issue a full refund. PayPal payments will receive PayPal refunds.

Virginia residents: 5% State Sales Tax is calculated using your ZIP Code and automatically added to the sub-total of your order.

Due to the volume of orders we receive, our minimum turn around time is 6 weeks for single item orders, not including shipping time. Multiple item orders require a longer turn around time. However, we do not hold any order back if it can be completed and shipped earlier than scheduled delivery time frame.
