How To Order Hobbie's Wizard Wear

We are now busy all year around so we highly recommend ordering early.

Many repeat customers order up to 1 year ahead of their desired delivery date with the majority of new customers ordering at least 6 months ahead.

Unfortunately, many customers order at the last minute, totally overlook a very important factoid posted in every product description.

With the exception of wizard wear items found in our Treasure Chest, our wizard wear products are not available for immediate delivery. Why? Every item of wizard wear is custom made to order.

As a result, delivery dates such as Halloween fill up very quickly, well ahead of the minimum turn around time. Available delivery dates are listed in the Shopping Cart.

Select an item from the Store's navigation bar, let's say School Vests, to be taken to the ordering page for a particular item.

Product boxes, as seen below, describe individual items in detail and feature an "Add To Cart" button.

Click on the "Add To Cart" button to place your selection in the shopping cart. Below is a screen capture of our Shopping Cart.

You will be directed to select an option from each of the drop down menus. If it seems like the shopping cart is uncooperative, you probably forget to select an option. Check the top of the shopping cart screen where an error message will appear, detailing the specific error. More often than not, the delivery date is missing.

PayPal Payment Transaction

Hobbie's House does not have a record of nor do we ever see any financial information belonging to our customers. Once you submit an order, PayPal takes over the payment process.

Yes...PayPal will automatically debit your PayPal account and credit cards will be charged as soon as you place your order. It's their rule...

It bears repeating that many customers overlook the fact that our products are not available for immediate shipment. Three to five days later, they initiate a "non-delivery" claim with PayPal.

These notices are posted in red and hard to miss but...If you've changed your mind about an order, PLEASE CONTACT US DIRECTLY, rather than initiating a claims dispute through PayPal.

Our minimum turn around time exceeds the 45 days set by PayPal. PayPal is fully aware that we are a custom knitting business. Bottom line? Would you rather have your money back instantly by contacting us or have it tied up with PayPal for a minimum of 30 days? Just send us an email and we'll issue a full refund. Paypal payments will receive Paypal refunds.

Virginia residents: A "how to order" fact for state residents - 5% State Sales Tax is calculated using your ZIP Code and automatically added to the sub-total of your order.

Due to the volume of orders we receive, our minimum turn around time is 4 weeks for single item orders, not including shipping time. Multiple item orders require a longer turn around time. However, we do not hold any order back if it can be completed earlier than scheduled delivery date.
