Childs 12-18 Months [24 lbs]
This knitting pattern is for a Wizard School pullover vest with ribbed edges at bottom of sweater and armholes. The toddler vest has classic armholes which can be edged with 1x1 ribbing or a row of single crochet. It has a v-neck front and a shallow back neckline. The neckband is 1x1 ribbing.
For this smaller sizes, we recommend that you leave one shoulder open to make it easier for the baby's head to go through the neck opening - or make the neck opening a just a couple rows deeper. For the “House Colors”, we recommend a 3-row stripe. At this gauge, a wider stripe would look out of proportion.

The amount of yarn required to make this vest is strictly an estimate. Every knitter knits differently and may require more yarn that the pattern calls for so we recommend you purchase an extra skein...just in case. Measure a test swatch for a more accurate calculation.
